Fishing
Pakwash Lake is 17 miles long and about 6 miles wide. The lake is fed by three major river systems; the Trout River, Chukuni River and the English River. Pakwash is an easy lake to learn to fish with many sheltered bays, miles of rock and sand shorelines, islands, mid lake reefs, drop-offs, sunken islands and rapids. Pakwash has dark water with a depth of 50 feet and is famous for producing an abundance of trophy size walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass and yellow perch. Our camp also has easy access to Bruce Lake and East Lake. All three lakes have an incredible amount of 15" - 18" walleye, and 22" - 27" northern pike. They also produce an abundance of trophy size (24" - 30" +) walleye and (36" - 44" +) northern pike. Pakwash also offers excellent smallmouth bass fishing with an average size of 2-3 lbs plus.
